The Grand Entrance: With all the Univ. Banners/colors for all branches of the military service, and the team dressed in camouflage jerseys to honor all military veterans.

Mercer University is the first Purple Heart University in the state of Georgia. They strongly support all veterans with special programs to fit the needs of veterans. The entire halftime program was military-oriented. It included all military songs, students making military displays to support the songs, and a local JROTC unit opening a very large US flag. The program was superb, and they won the game.
